What is Folksoc? What do you do?
Howdy! You seem to have stumbled across Folksoc, the home of folk music in Southampton. We meet every week for folk sessions and put on a number of ceilidhs (ceilii?) each year.
Sounds awesome. How do I join?
Just turn up and join in! We meet from 7pm - 9pm every Monday at building 34 room 4013 to learn and play folk tunes, then generally head to the pub for a session. Anyone with any instrument with any ability is welcome, or even just bring your voice if you don't play anything (expect to be taught to play the spoons eventually, though).
What's coming up?
There's probably something, but it's not on here yet. But it will be eventually. Stay tuned for more info on Folksoc events!
